Tropea and Capo Vaticano

Tropea and Capo Vaticano are the two jewels of the Calabrian Tyrrhenian Coast. Tropea, known as the Perl of the Tyrrenian Sea, is one of the most popular tourist destinations and was first mentioned by Pliny the Elder in the 1st century AD. In the historic center, full of noble palaces and typical workshops, you will see the Cathedral of the Norman era which preserves works of art such as the picture of the Madonna of Romania, Patron Saint of Tropea.
From a terrace in the center and overlooking the sea you can admire the sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola, surrounded by white sand and rich vegetation, and from which you can also see the Aeolian Islands.
In Capo Vaticano, instead, we will show you the famous ”Faro“, overlooking one of the most beautiful views of Calabria.
